We were more than excited to be leaving our hostel in Santiago which was quickly beginning to feel like an episode of the Real World, and moving on to Valparaíso. We had a quick, easy bus ride and found our new hostel no problem. Its in the heart of Valparaiso and might be the best hostel we’ve stayed at thus far. The bunk beds are huge and the decor is awesome.

We had a few hours to explore the city and accidentally ordered the most disgusting thing on the menu at a local restaurant. A little dish called chorrillana, which is apparently a popular item around here but to us it was something straight out of Man Vs. Food. Good nonetheless and it came with a pitcher of beer.
