After our absolutely perfect trek to Laguna Willcacocha, we signed up for the Laguna 69 trek leaving at 5:30 am the following day. We were able to book transportation through our hostel for 45 soles which took about 2.5 hours each way. We made one stop along the way for breakfast and a bathroom break and from there we paid our park entry fee and drove through some epic scenery before arriving at the trailhead.

The hike in total was just over 5 hours. The weather for the first hour of the hike was near perfection but as we worked our way up in altitude the clouds started closing in. Despite the cloud cover, there was still some crazy beautiful views. See below.
