The day started early with an 8:30 bus to Huerquehue National Park. Once in the park, we checked in with the ranger and set out for the Los Lagos trail which takes you by several of the major lakes in the area. I’ll go ahead and say this might be my favorite thing we’ve done/seen thus far.
The hike started off with lush, green forests. Huge, huge trees adorned with beautiful moss in all shades of green. As we worked our way up in attitude, the landscape transitioned from its lush green to a white wonderland. It was absolutely magical. A landscape straight out of “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” and I loved it. Obviously, this is one of those scenarios where the pictures don’t do the place justice but it will at least give you a taste.

Hey There Brent and Holly, Love the pictures. So beautiful. Thanks for keeping this blog. It is so much fun to follow. Grandma loves being able to follow your adventures. Stay safe. Love ya, Mom
